Generation of Narrow-B and Two-Photon State with Doubly Resonant Cavity in Parametric Down-Conversion
Z. Y. Ou · Kluwer Academic Publishers eBooks · 2005
Spontaneous parametricdown-conversion normallyproduces two-photon state with a wide bandwidth of Tera Hz, which is too large for optical detector to resolve and will limit its application in quantum information processing. Passive filtering may be used to narrow the bandwidth at the expense of signal rate. Here we report an experiment using active filtering to narrow the bandwidth to sub Giga Hz range and in the meantime greatly enhance the signal level. The observedenhancement factor is 5.6×10 4 per mode. These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors.
