Fault-tolerant Routing Based on Flag Bit in Torus Networks

This paper presents a new concept,flag bit,for fault-tolerant routing on Torus multicomputers.It gives a fault-tolerant routing algorithm based on flag bit.Flag bit stored on each node of a Torus keeps faulty information and indicates whether there is an optimal path from the source to the destination.The values of flag bit of nodes can be determined by information exchange between neighbors.
