Optimization Concepts in Autonomous Mobile Platform Design

The contribution aims to introduce selected topics and possible approaches to application of optimization methods within the area of artificial intelligence (AI). There are mentioned some — from the mathematical point of view — atypical approaches to optimization together with examples of their use in the Al — namely in design of intelligent self-guided autonomous vehicles.
