Bringing maturity to test [software quality testing]

Test is an often forgotten process when organisations aim to improve their software quality practices. The Test Maturity Model is one way of bringing order to the process of making sure software does what it is meant to. The TMM addresses static and dynamic testing. The TMM structure consists of a set of maturity goals. These identify testing improvement goals that must be addressed and satisfied to achieve maturity at that level.
