Generalized matrix inversion has become an increasingly important concept in matrix theory as well as a useful tool in engineering, statistics, control theory, and space mission design. For this reason, the need arises for an efficient (i.e.fast and accurate) method of computing the generalized invern-e of an arbitrary n x m matrix. The purpose of this paper is to present the results of computer tests used to compare the relative efficiency of several computer programs designed ^o calculate the generalized invei , se of an arbitrary real matrix.
