This paper describes the general concept of the KIDS prediction system. The prediction system is part of the Knowledge based and Intelligent Traffic Data Support System (KIDS) which is responsible for the generation of all the relevant data for the RHAPIT field trial. The SOCRATES Information Center is also explained.
