Experiences in teaching team software design

Pierre N. Robbillard · 1995

To teach team software design four components are needed: a team, a project, a process and quality control or evaluation mechanisms. This paper recounts our experience with a software engineering studio, the objective of which is that a team of students learns to design software and then to implement this software into a working product. Data gathered on team activity and the delivered products are presented. Comments and recommendations are made for each component.
