Using the Logic Diagram in Teaching Programming
Daniel W. McAllister, Floyd J. Brock · Journal of Research on Computing in Education · 1990
The Logic Diagram is a synthesis of many of the best elements found in pseudocode, structure charts, Warnier-Orr diagrams, and action diagrams. It is easy to use and facilitates the process of teaching student programmers. This paper introduces the Logic Diagram, then reports on research testing the use of Logic Diagrams in the classroom. The results of this testing indicate that the Logic Diagram is successful in assisting programmers to design and write better code.
