Control of dynamics and complexity of logistic systems will continue to gain in importance in the future. One possibility to cope with this challenge is the concept of autonomous logistic processes that counts on using sophisticated smart labels. This article addresses the system development process and presents a modelling methodology for analysis and design of autonomous logistic processes. It will give an overview of the created modelling and view concepts and details selected aspects of them.
