Reconstruction and Approximation of Functions from Samples
Qazi Ibadur Rahman, Gerhard Schmeißer · Birkhäuser Basel eBooks · 1985
We begin by recalling some methods which are used numerically for the reconstruction and approximation of functions from samples. Then we discuss a modified approach which has many interesting aspects. Most of the results mentioned here were first presented at a Conference on Approximation Theory held in Oberwolfach from November 16 to 21, 1981 but, due to prolonged illness of the first named author, could not be submitted for publication so far. These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors. This process is experimental and the keywords may be updated as the learning algorithm improves.
