Due to the exchange of sensitive information and the storage of user data, real-time chat applications are increasinglyexposed to cyber-attacks. The goal of this project is to develop a secure chat application with enhanced cybersecuritymeasures to protect digital communication and sensitive user information. Technologies such as end-to-end encryption, secure authentication methods, and real-time threat detection were utilized in the development of the solution. Theeffectiveness of the chat system was evaluated, and the results demonstrated that the cybersecurity-enhanced chatapplication was capable of mitigating various cyber threats commonly associated with real-time communicationplatforms. The findings suggest that organizations and developers can benefit from implementing advanced securityprotocols in chat systems to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive data. Future research canfocus on expanding the security capabilities of chat applications and addressing any limitations encountered duringtesting.
