In the previous chapter, you built a static ListView by listing every ListTile widget directly inside the children parameter. That approach works for short lists, but it has a problem: every item is created in memory the moment the ListView is built, even if the item is far off screen and the user may never scroll to it. For a list of three items that does not matter. For a list of three hundred or three thousand items, it wastes memory and slows down your app.
