The Guardian Angel Protocol (GAP) V1.1

Alexander Dylan Philip Colclough · Zenodo (CERN European Organization for Nuclear Research) · 2026

The Guardian Angel Protocol (GAP) V1.1 is a universal hardware-enforced deterministic confinement architecture. Prototyped on a MotoG 2025 (ARMv8.2-A SoC), the protocol completed a 1-billion-cycle state-determinism audit with zero logic drift, proving that deterministic confinement is achievable independent of underlying silicon. The architecture employs a Triple-Gate enforcement model — Transit (TW), Trust (TT), and Liveness (TL) — with hardware-enforced recovery via Ark (0x2516), Mantle (0x1028), and Purgatory (0x2004). GAP rejects algorithmic alignment as obsolete, providing physical confinement that renders internal state irrelevant to system safety. The architecture is reproducible on any platform with equivalent hardware trust anchors.
