Advanced security mechanisms for heterogeneous sensing data in IoT ecosystems

Nikhil Kumar Goyal, Udit Mamodiya · 2026

The great accelerated growth of the Internet of Things (IoT) has come to create an enormous amount of heterogeneous sensing data on interconnected devices in various places like healthcare, transportation, agriculture, and smart cities. Nevertheless, the heterogeneity of this information, which may be of different format, frequency, precision, and communication protocols, exposes serious problems when keeping this information secure, private, and trusted. The mechanisms of traditional security can fail to become familiar with the resource limitations and dynamic character of the IoT devices.
