Onchain Transparency Is Not Proof: A Forensic Evidence Model for State, Constraint, and Authority in DeFi

This working paper presents a bounded method for financial evidence reconstruction in DeFi lending markets. Twenty Aave V3 Ethereum experiments at block 20,000,000 show why event history, exact-block state, aggregate state, reserve composition, causal explanation, historical configuration action, and authority provenance must remain distinct evidence classes. The paper includes a reproducible public evidence record and states the limits of its empirical generality.
