The advent of Artificial Intelligence (AI) represents a revolution that has many significant impacts for education, healthcare, business, government, and other areas. The present article aims to analyse some of the key difficulties and opportunities brought about by AI and to assess its potential future effects on society. There are various positive aspects to be taken into account: automation of tasks, increased efficiency, improved decision-making, personalization, etc. At the same time, artificial intelligence can facilitate innovation and bring about economic growth. However, there are certain challenges that must be considered when discussing the issues of AI. For instance, concerns related to job losses, problems with data privacy, ethical concerns, biases, and other factors require special attention. The quick pace at which new technological solutions emerge poses serious problems for the regulation of AI. In addition, the excessive use of AI can impair human cognitive abilities.
