By inverting the location and trajectory of marine objects using echo information, high-frequency surface wave radar (HFSWR) offers the benefits of great detection distance, real-time operation, and all-weather capability. The issue with HFSWR's use of the DP-TBD algorithm for pre-detection tracking of weak targets is that it is challenging to balance the search area with noise interference in the state transfer range. In order to enhance the tracking and detection capabilities of weak targets, we provide in this study the DP-TBD technique, which is based on the adaptive state transfer range.
