This paper proposes a roll angle calibration method for phased-array radar. By using the approximately linear relationship between the roll angle of the phased-array radar and the target's elevation measurement error, combined with the radar's built-in angle measurement error calibration techniques, the method can quickly calculate the array's roll angle, thereby significantly improving the angle measurement accuracy of the phased-array radar. Experiments demonstrate that the roll angle calculated using this method is comparable in accuracy to that measured by laser measurement instruments, fully meeting the requirements of high-precision measurement radars. Furthermore, in engineering practice, a method to improve the omnidirectional angle measurement accuracy of phased-array radar by integrating a dynamic inclinometer is also proposed.
