R: introductory course for biologists

Several excellent introductory documents on R already exist (see for instance http://cran.r-project.org). In a way, this is yet another one. It is, however, intended for the very first use of R by biologists: how to install it, and how to enter basic commands at the command line, and finally, how to install SciViews and the FL library.
