Join-Distributive Elements in the Lattice of Closed Subgroups of a Profinite Group

In [8], the lattice of closed (and open) subgroups of a profinite group has extensively been examined from many classical lattice-theoretical point of views, such as distributivity, modularity and decomposability. The aim of this paper is to give a further push forward to the study of these lattices by characterizing its join-distributive, standard and neutral elements in terms of the profinite structure.
