Continuity as Limit Approximation Hypothesis v0.2

Omri Bankuti · Zenodo (CERN European Organization for Nuclear Research) · 2026

This record contains the English reference version and the Hungarian translation of Continuity as Limit Approximation Hypothesis v0.2: A Constraint Continuity Theory Supplement on Identity, Invariance and Self-Maintained Approximation. The document is an independent theoretical working note connected to Constraint Continuity Theory (CCT). It does not modify the CCT core definition of identity as non-branching self-maintained constraint continuity. The central hypothesis is that continuity may be interpreted as a limit-approximation process. A finite system never fully becomes the ideal invariant structure, but it may preserve identity by continuously maintaining, correcting and refining its relation toward that invariant. The guiding analogy is the approximation of a circle by an increasing sequence of regular polygons. The relevant point is not the numerical value of pi itself, but the structural relation between finite approximation, iterative refinement, limit structure and invariant continuity. This document is not CCT v0.4. It may later be cited by a future CCT v0.4 document as a supplementary formalization path.
