The Internet of Things (IoT) has a constantly increasing importance in recent developments. IoT is a concept that includes numerous communication devices and techniques for information sharing. Currently, IoT is primarily a descriptive word for the idea of connecting everything with the Internet. IoT is going to be vital in the future since the idea provides new applications and development opportunities. IoT applications are complex and versatile and cover pretty simple applications for home automation and significantly more complicated scenarios of linked smart cities. Extensive connections between the multiple operating systems that will be enabled in the near future will dominate IoT with large volumes of data-oriented traffic. IoT has become increasingly popular, and the number of hurdles and challenges has also increased. This research focuses on the present status of IoT, prospective scenarios, and obstacles that impact IoT.
