Fit the Forecast: Weather-Integrated, Time-Saving Outfit Assistant

This report documents the full design process of Fit the Forecast, a weather-integrated outfit assistant developed as a capstone design project. The project began by identifying a common but overlooked problem: the time and stress that busy women in their 20s and 30s experience when choosing outfits each morning. Through user interviews, competitive analysis, and iterative design, the system was developed to provide personalized outfit recommendations based on real-time weather, personal schedules, and individual comfort preferences. The proposed solution consists of a mobile app paired with a Smart Mirror concept that uses augmented reality for virtual try-on. This report covers five milestones: defining the problem, understanding users, designing the system, building a prototype, and evaluating it with real users.
