IKPS-CORE: DSFT- A Temporal Framework for Semantic Force Dynamics in Dialogue Systems

Samir Baladi · 2026

Dynamic Semantic Field Theory (DSFT) is a temporal computational framework for modeling multi-turn dialogue as interacting semantic force fields rather than static utterance-level representations. The model defines four core evolving semantic forces: Analytical Pressure (F_A), Exploratory Expansion (F_E), Affective Resonance (F_R), and Persuasive Drift (F_P). These forces evolve through time as a coupled dynamical system with inertia, momentum, resistance, and stochastic perturbations. This work introduces DSFT-TD V2.1, a controlled simulation environment designed to evaluate temporal semantic dynamics in dialogue systems. The framework is tested using synthetic multi-turn dialogue sequences generated under structured regimes including stable continuity, gradual drift, abrupt transition, and high-noise stochastic interaction. The study evaluates:temporal transition detection accuracy, stability of semantic force trajectories, predictive alignment with regime shifts, robustness under stochastic perturbations.A full preregistered analysis protocol, including statistical modeling, sampling strategy, and evaluation metrics, is defined in OSF Registries (Registration DOI: 10.17605/OSF.IO/NY5S8).This Zenodo entry serves as a citable archival snapshot of the DSFT framework implementation and documentation.
