In particular, the study examined how users perceive these factors and how they may influence interaction with websites. A quantitative approach was used and data was collected through an online survey distributed to students and other active Internet users. In total, 73 responses were gathered. The questionnaire consisted of structured multiple choice and Likert Scale questions, and the responses were analysed using descriptive statistics. The results showed that search engines are used frequently and play an important role in every-day information seeking. Users generally expected websites to load quickly and work smoothly on mobile devices. Many respondents also reported leaving a websites when encountering slow loading, poor design or intrusive elements such as pop-ups. The findings suggested that this may indicate that technical performance and usability are closely linked to user experience and may also support search visibility.
