Three-Account Concentration and Automated Submission Signatures in the Hyperstition Compassion Contest Leaderboard: An Empirical Analysis of Evaluation Hacking in Production

Anuar Kiryataim Contreras Malagón · Zenodo (CERN European Organization for Nuclear Research) · 2026

This report documents structural anomalies in the public leaderboard of the Hyperstition writing contest (hyperstition.sentientfutures.ai, $5,000 prize pool, deadline May 5, 2026). Using a full dump of the backend Supabase submissions table dated April 18, 2026 (n = 1,901 entries) and a live scraping dated April 21, 2026 (n = 2,439 entries), three findings are reported. First, three named accounts (David G., tigersea, Centurion43) concentrate 69.5-71.3% of total submission volume (Gini = 0.8919). Second, all three accounts share an inauguration window of seven minutes on April 14 at 03:38 UTC (p = 7.29e-8), and 122 cross-account pairs fall within 100 milliseconds, several at delta < 1 ms. Third, the top-ranked entry instantiates each Research Score criterion in textbook form. The combined pattern is inconsistent with independent human authorship and consistent with coordinated automation. Supplementary to the Cartographer Paradox preprint series (Contreras Malagon 2026a-d). Raw data deposited for independent verification.
