Project Irregular Variable

Irregular and semi-regular variable stars are claimed to be rich manifestation of nonlinear dynamical systems. Project of world wide observing network is proposed. Several hundreds of stars are selected from the General Catalogue of Variable Stars, and finding charts of these stars are in preparation, anticipating the collabolation of amateur astronomers having photoelectric equipments. Test observations were made at the Okayama Astrophysical Observatory in August 1988.
