Bachelor thesis, Mendel Uni-versity in Brno, Brno 2018 This bachelor thesis provides an overview of cyber crime, cyber crime costs and its impact on stock prices. It analyzes data breaches and finds out their impact on stock prices. For analyzing the impact, statistical test is used in software Gretl to find out structural break and significance.It also estimates and describes most im-pacted types of indrustries and locations of data breaches. Afterwards, it describes and summarizes performance of stock prices of analyzed companies in certain pe-riod.
