Functional Depth for Analysing Data on European Insurance Market Characteristics

The aim of this topic is to determine those depths which are appropriate for sorting functional data. We will exploit the chosen depth to further develop the cluster analysis-based exploration of European Insurance Market. The new functional cluster analysis treats equally the data sources stemming from the magnitude and shape of the curves related to the national insurance market developments in Europe. Finally, we will use the grouping solution of these curves for determining the factors affecting the insurance market development within each formed group/cluster.
