IT audit resistance under new access security law: A systematic and scientometric test

Tariq Muhammad Hussein Al-Zoubi · EDPACS · 2026

The study encourages IT audit resistance to new access security laws, with 239 publications from 1988 to 2015 through a systematic and scient review. The results suggest that the field has matured, and further research is centered around authentication, user-centric security access control, and compliance declarations. Argues range from organization, act, and technology barriers, however, new patterns are the fusion of machine learning, usability, and governance. The results of this research will supply a scientific base for auditors and organizations to promote effective compliance and overcome access barriers by reducing protected access.
