In its simplest form, ‘usability’ is the fact of something being easy to use or the degree to which it is easy to use (Cambridge Dictionary). The user of an interactive product such as a website, dishwasher, or coffee machine will know instinctively whether it is usable or not. The consequences of a product with poor usability are that its use will be limited, or it may not be used at all.
