The purpose of this thesis is to show the design of an automotive system from a hardware engineer trainee point of view, developed in a technological company. The system designed is a dual on-board wireless charger for smartphones, intended to be allocated between the seats of the passengers of a vehicle, supplied directly from the car?s battery voltage. The design has been performed to assure and be compliant with all the automotive and wireless charging norms up to the date in order to actually be offered to companies in a near future. Along with the design of the system, a full description of the process followed during automotive projects will be performed. The development of this design has been carried out at IDNEO S.A.U with the aid of its software tools and, at some points, the assistance of its expert engineers.
