Simple Multi-Vendor Ecommerce Website

This research paper details the creation of a fully functional multi-vendor e-commerce platform. The website serves as a centralized marketplace, allowing numerous vendors to set up their storefronts and sell products directly to customers. Developed with the Django web framework in Python, the system features a user-friendly interface for product browsing and secure checkout. A core component of the project is the integration of the Stripe payment processor, which handles all financial transactions securely. Upon a successful purchase, the system automatically sends email confirmations to customers and immediate order notifications to the respective vendors, streamlining the entire process from sale to delivery. The paper also discusses the architecture, data flow, and outlines future enhancements like vendor analytics and inventory management systems.
