Workload Characteristic Model for Instruction Level

Workload characteristic model is important in the design of computer architecture and system performance evaluation.Accurate characteristics analysis of workload behavior can help to evaluate the performance of architecture and improve its design.This paper describes the workload characteristics based on instruction level and distills the factors which influence the run time mostly.It designs a workload characteristic model which can generate different kinds of synthetic workload by adjusting the parameters.
