Dealing with Massive Numbers of Markers
Gabriel Svennerberg · Apress eBooks · 2010
A common problem that most maps developers run into sooner or later is that they need to add a large number of markers to a map. There are a few problems related to this. The first problem that becomes painfully apparent as soon as you start adding a lot of markers is that the performance of the map quickly degrades. A second big problem is with the usability of the map. It can be hard to make sense of a map that is crammed with markers. These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors. This process is experimental and the keywords may be updated as the learning algorithm improves.
