Abstract. TrindiKit is one of the main tools for developing ISU-based dialogue systems, but it is implemented in a non-free dialect of the pro-gramming language Prolog. Therefore we have translated the TrindiKit toolkit into an open-source Python package. We have tried to remain close to the original TrindiKit formulation, while making the most of Python classes and objects. 1
