PIACON: TRAFFIC CONTROL METHOD WITH VIDEO FEEDBACK

An advanced multicriteria adaptive traffic control method called PIACON is presented in this paper. PIACON is based on the feedback provided by a new generation of traffic video detectors. An illustrative numerical example of a Chapel Hill junction traffic groups control is demonstrated.
