IMAGE PROCESSING ALGORITHMS FOR DETECTING MOVING OBJECTS

This paper studies the problem of vehicle detection and the different parameters which the taks of vehicle detection so complex. Problems such as ambient lighting conditions, shadows, color of vehicles vehicle occlusions, and the large amount of data which needs to be processed in real-time are discussed. The authors describe image processing algorithms together with their results, to overcome the above problems.
