Information, coordination, and cooperation between personal and public transportation are key concepts for meeting future demands for efficient transportation systems. The prerequisite for this is combining various transportation providers and systems in order to realize multi-modal transportation chains. The objective of the MTV or Mobilitats- und Transportverbund (i.e. Integrated Mobility and Transport Network) project is to meet these prerequisites by focusing on networking the transportation providers and preparing to provide new mobility services.
