In this report, we propose to approach the problem of end-to-end performance achievement of real-time control loops in a global and system view. Conversely with the classical approach based on the separation of concerns between control and implementation, a coarser-grain view is investigated. The new approach is intended to be less architecture-dependent and able to provide the system with fault-tolerance abilities insuring robustness.
