Exact Person Tests for Assessing Model-Data Fit in the Rasch Model.
Michelle Liou · Applied Psychological Measurement · 1993
The accuracy of three exact person tests for assessing model-data fit in the Rasch model was investigated. Based on a simulation study, empirical Type I error rates and statistical power of the person tests were computed using known difficulty and θ parameters, as well as maximum likelihood estimates. The results indicated that the exact person test conditioned on total score (Molenaar & Hoijtink, 1990) is a promising tool for assessing consistency of response patterns with the Rasch model
