Structuring technical guidelines in fire protection engineering with topic maps

Due to the federal structure of Germany and the continuous adaptation of engineering standards in the field of fire protection, there is a multiplicity of complex and heavily interrelated laws, technical guidelines, rules and regulations. This poses a challenge for all actors in the building planning process because for every trade structural fire protection aspects have to be considered.
