DEVELOPMENT OF LOGICAL ARCHITECTURE FOR THE ITS ON-BOARD SYSTEM
Yoko Hasegawa · 1998
The direction of ITS without overlap, contradiction and omission can be illustrated by the construction of the ITS onboard SA. The Association of Electronic Technology for Automobile Traffic and Driving is tackling the definition of ITS service, construction of a logical and physical SA, the presentation of standardization themes and consensus formation, and has completed the construction of a logical SA thus far. In the definition of ITS service, services are reorganized under the viewpoint of an onboard SA. In the development of an information model indicating the role players and the relationships among them, three models, i.e., global, peripheral and vehicular, have been defined in order to observe vehicles from multilateral and detailed prospects. In developing a control model, the process using the object class and the five control patterns defined in the information model is described, and thus success in developing a consistent, simple, and clear logical architecture.
