Wavelets and Sampling

Sampling theorems are usually restricted to bandlimited signals for which the classical WSK theorem holds. But other spaces of nonbandlimited signals also may lead to such theorems. In particular reproducing kernel Hilbert spaces have a natural affinity for such theorems. Simplest are the Sobolev spaces for some of which the sampling theorem involves an impulse train. Others include most (perhaps all) wavelet subspaces even those with a compactly supported basis. These can also sometimes be extended to Hermite These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors. This process is experimental and the keywords may be updated as the learning algorithm improves.
