STUDY ON TRAFFIC SIMULATION MODELS SUPPORTING ITS IMPACTS EVALUATION

This paper describes research which reviewed approximately one hundred simulation models used for evaluating the impacts of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). Those models suitable for evaluating ITS impacts are presented and assessed. Prospects and areas for improvement are discussed.
