An OPEN LOOK at UNIX: A developer's guide to X

John David Miller · Medical Entomology and Zoology · 1990

This work investigates the OPEN LOOK interface of the X Window System, the machine-independent, multitasking UNIX windowing system. It also summarizes the X Window System itself, introduces object-oriented programming and covers items in the OPEN LOOK X Toolkit. It shows programmers how to take advantage of the X Resource Manager, the Inter-Client Communications Manual and the intricacies of the OPEN LOOK interface. A disk is available in UNIX cpio format.
