Linear sequential circuits : analysis, synthesis, and applications

Arthur Gill · Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC) · 1966

The objective of this book is to present a thorough mathematical treatment of the characterization, analysis and synthesis of Linear Sequential Circuits, and to demonstrate the applicability of Linear Sequential Circuits to various digital operations. It is not the intention of this book to delve into problems of circuit hardware or to embark upon wide discussion of areas of application, inasmuch as these subjects are already covered in other books. The author addresses himself primarily to 'engineering scientists' and applied mathematicians interested in the theories of systems, automata, and control. The material should also be of interest to engineering students and practicing engineers working in the areas of information processing and digital computation. (Author)
