Smds: Wide-Area Data Networking With Switched Multi-Megabit Data Service
R. W. Klessig, Kaj Tesink · Medical Entomology and Zoology · 1995
SMDS is designed to interconnect LANS across widely separated sites. This book explores SMDS from a customer and applications perspective, and focuses on the material contained in the SMDS requirements documents. It brings together into one reference technical material - both existing and new - that specifies how SMDS can be used with commonly deployed data networking protocols.
