Studies in Modeltheoretic Semantics

The present volume, the first one in the GRASS-series on the semantics of natural languages, presents research in modeltheoretic semantics by members of the Taakgroep Formele Linguistiek at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, the Netherlands. Although the individual papers cover a wide range of topics ranging from generalized quantifiers, anaphora, plural NPs and interrogatives to tense and aspect, they all employ to some extent modeltheoretic tools in characterizing the semantic concepts of interpretation, inference and informative content.
