SAM: a model to design computational social agents

Thierry Bouron, Anne Collinot · European Conference on Artificial Intelligence · 1992

This paper presents a model to design social agents (SAM) and introduces a computational environment for experimenting agents behaviors built upon this model. SAM considers the organization of a population of agents that must perform a collection of simultaneous social tasks. The agent behaviors are determined through successive levels of social complexity where the capabilities for communication and organization are augmented progressively. A set of experiments has been conducted to measure the agents efficiency.
